The Wedding Film of Lauren & Matthew at Silverholme Manor

Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

Lauren & Matthew wanted to get married in St Peter’s Church which you can see from Lauren’s parent’s house and where their little boy Harry was christened and they also love the Lake District. As they are the co-owners, with Matt’s brother, of Heritage Inns; a group of gastro pubs and restaurants across Lancashire and Greater Manchester they decided to cater the wedding themselves. They chose the idyllic Silverholme Manor on the shore of Lake Windermere with stunning views over the Lake for the location of their wedding, planned by Qube Events. Lauren & Matthew had a large bridal party, the bridesmaids all wore white Maids to Measure dresses and the boys wore black tie. It was a beautifully elegant day and as always Six15 Events got the party started in the evening, but my favourite part of the day was the gorgeous couples footage we captured overlooking Lake Windermere.

We really hope you enjoy Lauren & Matthew’s wedding film highlights trailer at Silverholme Manor.

The Wedding Film Lisa & Lewis at Peckforton Castle

Lisa & Lewis’ Peckforton Castle was the perfect fairy-tale wedding. There were so many fabulous moments; Lisa’s dad gave the most emotional speech, it had me tears and the best men got a video message from Joey Essex, who Lewis shares an uncanny likeness with. But my favourite moment without a shadow of a doubt was Lisa & Lewis’ first dance. As Lisa is a drama teacher we knew it was going to be something special, but it was a mini stage show! They started off slow dancing to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking out aloud then went into a mini mash up of iconic dance songs including; Dirty Dancing, Michael Jackson, the Diet Coke ad, Grease, Dance off with the bridal party to 5 and ending with Uptown Funk, amazing!

We really hope you enjoy Lisa & Lewis’ wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

Where better to have our first evening wedding, than at the stunning Peckforton Castle on a chilly February night. The Great Hall dressed in gold by the fabulous Red Floral Architecture; lit with over 700 candles was very atmospheric. It was great once again to be shooting alongside our good friends Chris & Claire from Chris Hanley Photography. My favourite part of the day has to be every single member of the wedding getting up and doing the love train with the singing waiters, hilarious!

The Wedding Film of Vicky & Paul at the Village Hotel, Warrington

As everyone who regularly reads our Facebook posts or our blog will know I do love a dog at a wedding and Vicky & Paul not only had their very cute dog Prince Harry at the Church, but their very two shy cats made an appearance while we were filming Vicky getting ready too, so I was in animal heaven. As you can see from the footage Vicky didn’t stop laughing all day and it made the day so much fun to film. What I loved most about Vicky & Paul’s wedding, obviously apart from their dog in a dickey bow that matched the colour of the bridesmaids dresses, was the fact that they did the wedding their way. They didn’t have a seating plan, speeches or a formal sit down meal. It was just a really relaxed and chilled day and also Paul had a cool wedding tattoo!

The Wedding Film of Laura & John at Thornton Manor

The golden light at autumn weddings makes it one of my favourite times of the year to shoot and we were blessed with such wonderful weather for Laura & John’s beautiful Thornton Manor wedding. My favourite part of the day was John’s crazy high kicks, which he had warned us about beforehand and  their first dance which was them just having fun to an upbeat old 80’s song I hadn’t heard before, but now love; Stephanie Mills – Never Knew Love Like This Before.

It was lovely once again to shoot alongside the fabulous Zoe and Joel from Zoe Photography.

The Wedding Film of Abigail & Michael at Peckforton Castle

The one thing I love about Abigail & Michael’s Peckforton Castle wedding film is how emotional Abigail was, it was so sweet when she broke down crying during her vows; to be honest she shed quite a few tears throughout the day. Abigail had a stunning customised Justin Alexander gown, with a bespoke crown flown in from New York by Halo & Co and a pair of custom made Cinderella shoes by TLC Creations. Another highlight of the day was the surprise entertainment. Abigail is a huge fan of the musical Starlight Express, so her mum had arranged for the actual cast to put on a special performance. Once again we were had the pleasure of filming the amazing creations by fellow Wedding Queen; Red Floral Architecture. Mat and his team always showcase the Castle at its best.

The Wedding Film of Helen & Andrew at Soughton Hall

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

We were really looking forward to Helen & Andy’s wedding at Soughton Hall because 5 years ago we filmed Andy’s brother’s wedding at Mere Court. This time around, Paul was the bestman and Kathryn a bridesmaid. It was also really lovely to see both sets of families again.

The snow might have looked magical and added something extra special with the blue skies and brilliant sunshine, but it also caused a few problems. The week before the wedding the weight of the snow had caused the existing marquee at Soughton Hall to collapse and they feared they might have to switch venues. Much to Helen & Andy’s relief Soughton Hall managed to organise a new marquee. Unfortunately the vintage London bus Helen & Andy had booked to transport the guests in style couldn’t get down the long drive way because of the snow laden trees, but it did give the guest the opportunity to take in the stunning views of the Hall.

Helen and her bridesmaids got ready at the spectacular Soughton Hall with Helen’s friend doing the hair and makeup by Makeup by Laura. Helen chose an astonishing Justin Alexander dress covered in lace from Puure Bride in Lymm which she teamed with beautiful nude Christian Louboutin peep toe heels. For good luck and her something blue, Helen’s mum sewed the very same little blue bow that was originally in her wedding dress into the bottom of Helen’s dress. The colour scheme for the vintage inspired wedding was an elegant cool grey; the bridesmaids wore three quarter length dresses with matching sparkly grey heels. The guy’s dapper suits were all from Groom.

The boys arrived at St Eurgain & St Peters Church on the London bus and went to wait in the pub across the road. As a wedding gift Helen had bought Andy an engraved Tiffany money clip. The rest of the guests were then collected on the bus. Helen arrived in a vintage grey Rolls Royce from Platinum wedding cars. The Church was decorated with baby’s breath which was also in all the buttonholes, corsages and bridesmaids bouquets. Andy just about held it together as the Thackeray string trio played as Helen walked down the aisle. Helen cried during her vows, but got through them with Andy’s help. I love the looks and beaming smiles they gave to each other during the ceremony.

After the confetti was thrown, it was a short drive on the London bus back to Soughton Hall where there was a drinks reception in the walled garden in the glorious sunshine, while Thackeray string trio played once again. The marquee for the wedding breakfast looked enchanting due to all the time and effort Helen had put into finding all the little objects and touches, including a wishing tree, post box, cigars for the boys and a whole table filled with Barratts sweets (the family name) in vintage sweet jars. The flowers were by The Green Room Flower Emporium. Andy’s sister made all the bunting that decorated the marquee and the really cute wedding cake; you wouldn’t believe she doesn’t do it for a living. During the wedding breakfast the very talented Gillan Edgar kept everyone entertained.

It was such a beautiful evening that after the speeches the photographers Richard & Verity from Cetra Photography took Helen & Andy into the garden for a few photos. The sunset and snow looked marvellous and Helen even had a quick go on the swing until Andy accidently nearly tipped her off. It was then back inside for the cutting of the cake and first dance which was to James Morrison’s I Won’t Let Go. Gillan Edgar and his band then got everyone dancing the night away. We really hope you enjoy Helen & Andy’s wedding film highlights trailer at Soughton Hall.
