The Wedding Film of Louise & Liam at Peckforton Castle

Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

We are so fortunate to film so many beautiful weddings at Peckforton Castle and Louise & Liam’s day was no exception. Sadly Louise’s Dad has passed away, so to honour his memory Louise’s brother drove her around the castle ward in their father’s vintage Ferrari before the ceremony. Apart from Louise & Liam’s cute daughter, my favourite part of the day was the bond between Louise and her brother and how emotional he was when he saw her in her dress for the first time and when he walked her down the aisle to meet Liam.

We really hope you enjoy Louise & Liam’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Nicola & Michael at Peckforton Castle

What I love about my job is that even though we have filmed many weddings at Peckforton Castle, in fact it’s our most popular venue, they are always different and we see something new every time. Nicola & Michael not only had personal vows, which I think makes the ceremony extra special, but they sealed their union with a Sand Ceremony, which is where sand of two different colours are combined into one vase and they can never be separated. Michael composed a special reading for Nicola during his speech which was companied by a piece of music called Amor, composed and performed by the very talented Craig Owen Music. Craig kindly gave us permission to use this piece for the first track of Nicola & Michael’s wedding film highlights trailer. It was such an emotional day, due to Nicola & Michael’s shared past, but my favourite part of the day apart from the moment when they saw each other for the first time as Nicola walked down the aisle, was their choreographed first dance!

We really hope you enjoy Nicola & Michael’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Michelle & Tom’s at Peckforton Castle

Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

Peckforton Castle is an amazing venue no matter what time of the year, but I think it is especially suited to winter weddings. Michelle & Tom have been together for 11 years and chose the Castle for their intimate family orientated wedding. Michelle had not one but two stunning dresses, the first a beautifully detailed Donna Lee Brides dress from Opulence Bridalwear and the second a shimmering figure hugging Sherri Hill dress from Dress 2 Party. My favourite part of the day apart from the beautiful lighting for their first dance, was how emotional Tom was during the ceremony, he was so choked up he could hardly get his words out, it was so moving!

The Wedding Film of Kelly & James at Peckforton Castle

Kelly & James met and fell in love at James’ family jewellery business; Hugh Rice. As you can imagine with both of them working in the business, jewellery played a big part in the day. From Kelly’s amazing diamond drop earrings and huge pear shaped diamond engagement ring, to the diamond Tennis bracelet that James surprised her with on the morning of their Peckforton Castle wedding. Not to be left out Kelly bought James a limited edition Oris watch that he had his eye on months ago and reserved for himself, but with a little help from his Best man and cousin, who also works for the family business, they told James he had accidently sold it to another customer! It was a fabulous day filled with so much laughter; Sense of Sound Wedding Singers provided the entertainment for the drinks reception, seamlessly blending gospel songs with RNB classics and current hits. It was great to shoot alongside Jonny Draper Photography once again and the day with him wouldn’t be the same without out one of his signature smoke bombs. The gorgeous couple shots with the smoke bombs is my favourite part of the day!

The Wedding Film of Louise & Stephen at Peckforton Castle

We started 2017 right where we finished our 2016 wedding season, at one of our favourite venues; Peckforton Castle. What a great start to the year Louise & Stephen’s wedding was, every detailed was planned to perfection, there was even a spreadsheet. I loved how Louise’s daughter wrote a beautiful poem for her mum, which she read to her while they were getting ready, but my favourite part of the day, other than the sparklers, was their amazing choreographed first dance, it must ages taken ages to learn!

Peckforton Castle is an amazing venue all year round, but I think it is extra special at winter. Lindsay & Benjamin fully embraced their winter wonderland theme, from the room decorations right through to all the beautiful illustrated wedding stationery. Benjamin was so emotional during the ceremony, I loved his reaction when he saw Lindsay for the first time, but my favourite moment was their incredible choreographed first dance routine, it must have taken months to learn!

The Wedding Film of Victoria & Ian at Peckforton Castle

Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

Regular visitors to our blog will know that we work at the amazing Peckforton Castle the most frequently of all the venues in the North West, which is brilliant for us as it is a fabulous venue and we are very proud to be a recommended supplier. So it was lovey to once again be back there for Victoria & Ian’s wedding. I wish you could smell how amazing the Castle smelt; Victoria had gorgeous Jo Malone Peony & Suede Blush candles burning everywhere which smelt wonderful alongside the flowers by Ian Lloyd at The Flower Shop. I loved the way that Victoria & Ian looked at each during the ceremony and my favourite bit was when Ian was so caught up looking at Victoria that he said ‘I will’ instead of ‘I do’. Everyone laughed and he jokingly repeated ‘I do’ over and over and then the very sincerely looking Victoria right in the eyes said softly ‘I do’ once again. It gave me goose bumps and it was such an incredibly sweet moment!
