Yasmin is a huge Disney fan and chose Beauty & the Beast as the theme for her wedding to Zach at Peckforton Castle, perfectly planned by the awarding winner wedding planner Charlotte Elise Wedding and Events. Yasmin & Zach have their own fairy-tale story; after meeting on holiday aged 11, they kept in touch and when Zach was 15 they met up again, 9 years later to that exact date they got married, how sweet!

The Wedding Film of Zena & Miles at Great John Street

The whole city chic and intimate feel of Zena & Miles’ Great John Street wedding was lovely, we don’t often film at city centre venues, but Great John Street was the perfect location on this sunny spring day. I just loved the style and colour of Zena’s Erica Stacey Bridalwear dress, stunning accessories by Eleventh Heaven By Ann Mckavney and divine rooms decorated by Red Floral Architecture. It was a pleasure as always shooting alongside our good friends and talented photographers Chris & Claire from Chris Hanley Photography. My favourite part was probably the surprise game of Mr & Mrs organised by their daughters.

We really hope you enjoy Zena & Miles wedding film highlights trailer at Great John Street.

The Wedding Film of Laura & John at Thornton Manor

The golden light at autumn weddings makes it one of my favourite times of the year to shoot and we were blessed with such wonderful weather for Laura & John’s beautiful Thornton Manor wedding. My favourite part of the day was John’s crazy high kicks, which he had warned us about beforehand and  their first dance which was them just having fun to an upbeat old 80’s song I hadn’t heard before, but now love; Stephanie Mills – Never Knew Love Like This Before.

It was lovely once again to shoot alongside the fabulous Zoe and Joel from Zoe Photography.

We really hope you enjoy Laura & John’s wedding film highlights trailer at Thornton Manor.

The Wedding Film of Fran & Chris at Knowsley Hall

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

We were very excited to be shooting Fran & Chris’ wedding at the magnificent Knowsley Hall. Tony had filmed a production client’s wedding there a couple of years ago, but Fran & Chris’s wedding would be the first time for Marry Me Films. Another reason we were looking forward to Fran & Chris’ wedding was that we would be working once again with the best suppliers in Liverpool; Sian & Robyn from So Coco Rouge and the wonderful Zoe & Joel from Zoe Photography. To see Zoe’s fabulous images from the day check out Zoe’s blog.

When we arrived at Knowsley Hall early in the morning to film Fran’s preparations the sun was just coming over the top of the Hall and it looked fantastic. Fran got ready with her mum and bridesmaids in the impressive Lord Derby Suite with the ladies from So Coco Rouge working their magic. Fran had the most stunning Caroline Castigliano wedding dress and Jimmy Choo shoes, which had blue Swarovski crystals spelling out the words ‘I do’ on the soles.

Chris and the groomsmen looked very dapper in top and tails. The wedding service was a short drive to St Mary’s Church in Prescott. Fran & Chris had got special permission to have their family vicar preform the ceremony. He had interviewed them Mr & Mrs quiz style beforehand about how they had met and what they thought about each other and it was very funny and touching. During the signing of the register The Greg Bish Blueprint duo performed. After the ceremony Fran & Chris were showered with confetti on the steps behind the Church.

The guests then made their way to Knowsley Hall while Fran & Chris went for a little drive, as they made their way up the majestic drive they were greeted by a loud cheer and another round of confetti with everyone lined up on the staircase. They then toasted with the most remarkable Swarovski crystal champagne flutes that sparkled in the sun. The drinks reception was on the back terrace overlooking the wonderful landscape gardens and the guest were once again entertained by a guitar duo from The Greg Bish Blueprint.

The wedding breakfast was served in the sumptuous State Dining Room which looked fabulous with all the old paintings and chandeliers. The table plan, names and menus were all designed by Dragonfly Couture Stationery. During the wedding breakfast the Adagio Strings Quartet performed. As the evening light before the speeches was so beautiful Zoe took the opportunity to take Fran & Chris down to the lake and we got some gorgeous footage while they practiced their first dance.

The evening reception was in the grand Zucker Ballroom. The ladies from So Coco Rouge came back in the evening and changed Fran’s makeup look and put her hair up. Fran’s Caroline Castigliano wedding dress also had an evening look with the addition of a fine black ribbon belt and pretty crystal brooch. Fran & Chris then cut the spectacular cake designed by Cakes by Beth; the table was filled with past generations of wedding day photos. Fran & Chris had learnt a waltz for their first dance and after the first couple of bars the rest of the wedding party joined in with varying degrees of success. The Greg Bish Blueprint full band then played into the night.
