The Wedding Film of Victoria & Mark at Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield

Victoria & Mark booked us after seeing their friends; Rachael & Tom’s Swinton Park wedding film. For their wedding they chose the perfect location; the newly refurbished Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield in Bowness-on-Windermere. They got married in the quaint village Church and took advantage of the glorious spring weather by walking along the lakeside and through the gardens back up to The Belsfield, where they were greeted with the sounds of a steel band playing.  Their perfect day was rounded off with a tunnel of sparklers and a surprise fireworks display overlooking Lake Windermere.

We really hope you enjoy Victoria & Mark’s wedding film highlights trailer at the Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield.

The Wedding Film of Louise & Stephen at Peckforton Castle

We started 2017 right where we finished our 2016 wedding season, at one of our favourite venues; Peckforton Castle. What a great start to the year Louise & Stephen’s wedding was, every detailed was planned to perfection, there was even a spreadsheet. I loved how Louise’s daughter wrote a beautiful poem for her mum, which she read to her while they were getting ready, but my favourite part of the day, other than the sparklers, was their amazing choreographed first dance, it must ages taken ages to learn!

We really hope you enjoy Louise & Stephen’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Sarah & Sarah at Knowsley Hall

It was a very cold (-4) but stunningly beautiful frosty day for Sarah & Sarah’s gorgeous marsala and gold colour scheme wedding at Knowsley Hall. We have filmed some immaculately planned weddings, usually with the help of an expert wedding planner, but I have never seen this level of detail before. Every aspect had been planned to perfection, from the hot chocolate station with every type of topping imaginable, the all-white sweet table, to even the colour coordinated blankets to keep guests warm if they wanted to go outside, all with signs by Pink Sherbet Designs with their intertwined SS logo which adorned everything. It was such a fun day with the Sarah’s, depending on which side of the families you asked, one was Sarah 1 and the Sarah 2, but my favourite part of the day, other than Sarah’s Father and Daughter surprise dance mash up, was just how very much in love they looked all day!

We really hope you enjoy Sarah & Sarah’s wedding film highlights trailer at Knowsley Hall.

The Wedding Film of Lindsay & Benjamin at Peckforton Castle

Peckforton Castle is an amazing venue all year round, but I think it is extra special at winter. Lindsay & Benjamin fully embraced their winter wonderland theme, from the room decorations right through to all the beautiful illustrated wedding stationery. Benjamin was so emotional during the ceremony, I loved his reaction when he saw Lindsay for the first time, but my favourite moment was their incredible choreographed first dance routine, it must have taken months to learn!

We really hope you enjoy Lindsay & Benjamin’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Maria & Jonathan at Peckforton Castle

Maria & Jonathan’s Peckforton Castle wedding was not only a stunningly beautiful winter wonderland theme by Red Floral Architecture, but extremely fun too. Just like the duality of the day their creative cake by Confetti & Crumbs was also double sided, one side elegant like the décor and the other side made up of the emblems from some of Jon’s favourite sport teams. They had an Xbox party van parked outside the Castle for the evening reception and the speeches were hilarious, but the best bit of the day for me was how Maria & Jonathan’s guests were fooled by the brilliant Your Singing Waiters!

We really hope you enjoy Maria & Jonathan’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

Hello 2017, but first a quick look back at 2016!

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

I say the same thing every year, but where has the time gone, 2016 literally flew by even quicker than ever before!

2016 started with Natalie & Sean’s wedding at The West Tower which was extra special for us, as not only was it our first wedding of 2016, but it was our 200th Marry Me Films wedding too. It was a pleasure to be back at lots of our favourite venues in 2016, but we also filmed weddings at lots of venues new to us too; Llyndir Hall, Hope Street Hotel, Chateau Rhianfa, Styal Lodge, Denton Hall and Keele Hall. We ended 2016 with a first for us, the same sex marriages of Sarah & Sarah at Knowsley Hall and Joanne & Fiona at Peckforton Castle, within the same week as each other in November and we won the The English Wedding Awards 2016 North West Videographer of the Year!

We are very fortunate to already be nearly fully booked for 2017, with fab weddings booked in at our most popular venues like Peckforton Castle, Knowsley Hall and Eaves Hall, but we are looking forward to filming at new venues for us in 2017; The Belsfield, Trafford Hall, The Falls, Silverholme Manor, Combermere Abbey and Tyn Dwr Hall.

Yet again to keep our creative juices following we did several creative shoots with the brilliant; Red Floral Architecture, Eleventh Heaven by Ann McKavney, Flossy & Leigh Makeup Artist Company, Suzanne Thorp at The Frostery, Typical Type, Knutsford Bridal Gallery, Whitehouse Event Crockery, iCatching Events, Pink Frosting Cake Company, Richard Smith Bespoke, Jeff Langhorne Photography and Teresa C Photography. We already have two creative shoots booked in for the coming months. We love doing them and never know from shoot to shoot what these guys will come up with, each time we think it can’t possibly get any better, but every time they never fail to be even more impressive than the last.

We have also had the pleasure of creating little promo films for Tyn Dwr Hall, Styal Lodge, Dorfold Hall, Owen House Wedding Barn, Combermere Abbey, and Knutsford Bridal Gallery.

So once again a massive thank you to all our couples and all the marvellous wedding suppliers and wedding venues we have had the pleasure of working with, for making 2016 another incredible year. We really hope you have enjoyed watching our wedding film highlights trailers over the past 12 months and we can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store for Marry Me Films!

The Wedding Film of Dian & Riaan at Keele Hall

Dian & Riaan live out in Singapore where they met when Riaan went to work out there. Riaan went to Keele University so they decided to hold the English section of their two part wedding at the magnificent Keele Hall within the University grounds which looked amazing with all the autumnal colours. Dian had not one but two stunning wedding dresses, I also loved that her Mum was one of her bridesmaids, but my favourite parts of the day was how emotional Dian was during the ceremony and the fun of the Tom Foolery box from Bliss Wedding DJ!

We really hope you enjoy Dian & Riaan’s wedding film highlights trailer at Keele Hall.

The Wedding Film of Natalie & Ian at Peckforton Castle

Natalie & Ian got married at Peckforton Castle which was impeccably dressed once again by the amazing Red Floral Architecture. It was a really emotional day, filled with tears of joy; Natalie receiving her dream bag as a present from Ian, seeing her brothers for the first time and them walking her down the aisle, to Natalie & Ian’s beautiful personal vows. There were so many great moments to choose from; the fist bumps once they were pronounced man and wife, dancing back up the aisle to a song from Grease, to the incredible lighting rig by Hipswing Entertainments which transformed the Great Hall into a night club for the evening reception, but my favourite part was the brilliant surprise old school smash up dance routine by Natalie’s bridesmaids!

The Wedding Film of Gemma & Neil at Peckforton Castle

There aren’t many grander settings than Peckforton Castle and no one dresses it quite like Red Floral Architecture, so Gemma & Neil’s wedding was off to a wining combination, couple that with our friends; Chris & Claire from Chris Hanley Photography and it was a wonderful day all round. My favourite part of the day was the fact that not only did they have us and Chris Hanley Photography capturing the day forever, but they had Stuart Barkley The Wedding Painter, painting a scene in the Drawing Room during the wedding breakfast, which he presented to them just before the speeches, what a great idea!

We really hope you enjoy Gemma & Neil’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Grace & Finn at Colshaw Hall

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

All our couples choose the music for their wedding film and highlights trailer, but it is a rare thing when we can use a track that is actually a song by the bride; Grace & Finn’s Colshaw Hall wedding film highlights trailer track is sung by the very talented bride. Grace chose a beautiful Rosa Clara dress from Knutsford Wedding Gallery and a vibrant exotic colour scheme brought to life by Springbank and Bloomsbury Wedding Cakes. I loved Grace’s reaction to the gift of a guitar and lessons from Finn and the looks they gave each other during the ceremony, but my favourite moment was how Grace laughed during the speeches, uncontrollably!

We really hope you enjoy Grace & Finn’s wedding film highlights trailer at Colshaw Hall.
