The Wedding Film of Jen & Nick at Carden Park

All weddings are emotional, but Jen & Nick’s wedding film highlights trailer should carry a government health warning that it shouldn’t be watched without a very large box of tissues. You have been warned!

Unfortunately Jen’s dad was rushed to hospital in the early hours the day of the wedding with a problem with an on-going medical condition, which meant that he missed the whole wedding. As you can imagine everyone was very upset, but Colin got the care he needed and insisted that the wedding go on as he said he could watch it all back on the film. To make sure that he could still be part of the day; Jen and her mum went to the hospital just before the ceremony so he could see her in her dress and then Jen & Nick with the Vicar went back to hospital so that they could do the vows part again and he could give his daughter away. This very special moment is some of the most poignant and emotional footage we have ever filmed and had me in floods of tears checking the footage, during the editing of the documentary bonus section and watching the feature film, in fact every time I see it and I have seen it a lot. Even though Colin couldn’t be there and he was obviously missed it was still a wonderful day filled with tears but lots of laughs too.

We really hope you enjoy Jen & Nick’s wedding film highlights trailer at Carden Park.

The Wedding Film of Jade & Thomas at The Lowry Hotel

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

The majority of the weddings we film tend to be held at grand stately homes in the middle of the countryside, so it was great to have the opportunity to film a wedding in the urban setting of The Lowry Hotel. Photographers Pixies in the Cellar took Jade & Thomas off into the back streets of Manchester for some amazing gritty backgrounds, if not a bit smelly!

My favourite bit of the whole day, other than Jade & Thomas’ fun loving spirit and their adorable little boy Finn in his Converse trainers, was how emotional Thomas was during the service. It was so sweet how much he cried, we haven’t seen a groom that emotional since Jane & Steve’s Iscoyd Park wedding.

It was lovely once again to be filming a magnificent cake by Cakes by Beth and the wondrous floral designs by the imitable fellow Wedding Queen; Red Floral Architecture.

The Wedding Film of Danielle & Craig at Peckforton Castle

Danielle wanted to feel like a Princess on her wedding day, so where better than Peckforton Castle to get married. Danielle, Craig and their beautiful daughter Freya live in Qatar and flew back for a traditional English wedding at the castle. I loved how emotional Craig was before he saw Danielle walk down the aisle and the registrar had to give him a tissue. He had such a good sense of humour joking around all day; he made everyone laugh during the vows when Danielle said ‘I do’, Craig asked if she was sure and of course she was!

The Wedding Film of Tracey & David at The Mere

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

One of my favourite parts of the trailer is when David sees Tracey for the first time in the bedeken and he is unsure if he is allowed to kiss her, so he asks and Tracey gives him a resounding no and then giggles, it makes me laugh every time and then David leaves to go to the ceremony room and Tracey says “see you in a minute”, it is such a sweet moment. The ceremony was so lovely with both their parents taking an active role in the marriage service under the beautiful silk painted chuppah. The best part of the day was the amazing Israeli and Irish dancing, we have never seen such energetic dancing, with a maypole and the bride skipping in her dress. We were shattered just filming and they kept it up for hours. It was a fantastic shindig.

Special thanks to Blake from Blake Ezra Photography for his guidance on the various Jewish customs and ceremonies and to Metropolis and their event coordinator Becca for all their help on the day. They got the party started and kept it going all night.

We really hope you enjoy Tracey & David wedding film highlights trailer at The Mere.

The Wedding Film of Lousie & Dominic at The Grove

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

I think Louise & Dominic’s wedding maybe be the most extravagant and glamorous wedding we have filmed. From the very grand setting of The Grove on London’s Country Estate, celebrity makeup artist, Louise’s Inbal Dror dress, Dominic’s bepsoke Charlie Allen suit, the masses of flowers by In Water Flowers, huge Villa Dolce cake, endless entertainment, to the free bar for the 300 guests. My favourite things though, were the cute little flower girls and page boys with their flower crowns and top hats and Louise’s dog making an appearance in it’s own Louis Vuitton bag. I love the bit in the ceremony were their daughter Queenie calls out daddy when there are saying their vows, so sweet. It was also great to work alongside our friend’s and wonderful photographers Chris Hanley Photography once again, check out Chris’ blog.

The Wedding Film of Sue & Neil at Carden Park

Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

We first met Sue & Neil at the Carden Park wedding fair. After watching one of our trailers for a while Sue started to cry and then rushed off embarrassed. She came back and the same thing happened again. I tried to reassure her that this occurred all the time, that it was the best possible reaction to one of our films and that we take it as a compliment, but she went away again. She then came back with Neil, but I still didn’t think they were interested in having their wedding filmed, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The next day we had a call from Sue, she introduced herself as the lady who couldn’t stop crying and they booked us to film their wedding and she has been one of our biggest fans ever since!

We had such a good laugh with Sue & Neil at their pre-wedding planning meeting and it felt like we were filming friends, it was such a relaxed warm atmosphere. They are such a sweet couple and there were so many lovely moments throughout the day, like when Neil’s voice breaks during his vows and Sue’s dad’s speech, but my favourite is the little tear that rolls down Sue’s face during their first dance, it gets me every time.

We really hope you enjoy Sue & Neil’s wedding film highlights trailer at Carden Park.

The Wedding Film of Abigail & Michael at Peckforton Castle

The one thing I love about Abigail & Michael’s Peckforton Castle wedding film is how emotional Abigail was, it was so sweet when she broke down crying during her vows; to be honest she shed quite a few tears throughout the day. Abigail had a stunning customised Justin Alexander gown, with a bespoke crown flown in from New York by Halo & Co and a pair of custom made Cinderella shoes by TLC Creations. Another highlight of the day was the surprise entertainment. Abigail is a huge fan of the musical Starlight Express, so her mum had arranged for the actual cast to put on a special performance. Once again we were had the pleasure of filming the amazing creations by fellow Wedding Queen; Red Floral Architecture. Mat and his team always showcase the Castle at its best.

The Wedding Film of Katie & Tom at Bodrhyddan Hall

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

As soon as we pressed the doorbell at Katie’s mum’s house and it started to play a Disney theme tune we knew we were in for a fun day! Katie is the biggest fan of anything, let alone Disney that we have ever met. What I love most about Katie & Tom’s wedding was Katie’s infectious smile, sunny disposition and whole outlook on life. I love the moment when Katie came bounding down the aisle in her personalised purple converse trainers and beams at Tom and he laughs and shakes his head, such a lovely movement that always makes me smile. Katie & Tom’s mates also left the funniest series of video messages with a running joke about who was going to go home with one of the ushers, even the mother of the groom joined in. It was a really fun day which I think comes across in their wedding film highlights trailer.

The Wedding Film of Kirsty & Stuart at Mottram Hall

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

If I could only use one word to describe Kirsty & Stuart’s Mottram Hall wedding it would be glam! It was a super-hot sunny day which was prefect for the outdoor ceremony in the gardens, making all the crystals that adorned Kristy’s beautiful dress, bouquet and head piece sparkle brilliantly. I loved all the little surprises they had organised for each other, which culminated in a fireworks display at the end of the evening. It was also a real pleasure to work alongside the fabulous fellow Wedding Queens; Red Floral Architecture, Eleventh Heaven by Ann McKavney, Diva Designer Cakes, Nina Wren Bridal Hair & Tiaras and Ivy Cottage Cards and new wedding planner Lisa Sutton of Pink Diamond Weddings.

The Wedding Film of Elaine & David at Sandhole Oak Barn

Posted By: Sara
Filed under the category : Highlights Trailers

Elaine & David’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn was so chilled and relaxed, just like their personalities. Elaine left her bouquet at home, got caught in terrible traffic on the motorway making her late, but did she let it put a dampener on the day, no she was given some flowers from an arrangement for the wedding breakfast and she walked down the aisle with a big beaming smile on her face. There were so may little personal items decorating the venue from signs to the knitted monkey bride & groom. One of the best parts of the day was their personal vows, which were so moving and heartfelt, it is so clear to see how much in love they are. Of course I couldn’t not mention the stunning Tiffany diamond earrings that David bought Elaine as a surprise present, amazing!
