The Wedding Film of Charlotte & Paul at Peckforton Castle

We adore filming the fabulous creations of our fellow Wedding Queens; Red Floral Architecture and Eleventh Heaven by Ann McKavney, especially at the magically location of Peckforton Castle. The drawing room looked magnificent with pale grey linen, white roses, crystal chandeliers and masses of candles by Mat and his team.  Ann had designed an enchanting headpiece which wrapped around Charlotte’s sophisticated bun. They also combined their talents to produce Charlotte’s glorious bejewelled bouquet. Charlotte had not one but two stunning dresses which was kept secret from everyone. The first a beautiful billowing Ronald Joyce dress and the second was a slinky Benjamin Roberts fitted lace dress which she changed into before the first dance. We got some great footage in the wine cellar which is just one of the reasons we love shooting alongside our good friends Chris & Claire from Chris Hanley Photography.

We really hope you enjoy Charlotte & Paul’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Amanda & Michael at The Upper House

Amanda & Michael are childhood sweethearts and have been together since they met when a band Michael played drums in were booked to play their first and only paid gig at Amanda’s sister’s 18th birthday party on New Year’s Eve 2001. The entire day was meticulously planned, with Amanda’s mum making the amazing cake and all the matching chair bows and table runners. Amanda & Michael produced all the stationery and the entire day had a lovely country wedding theme which perfectly suited The Upper House and its wonderful setting overlooking the countryside. My favourite part of the day was their personal vows, which were so heart felt and sweet. I also love the bit were Michael had to compose himself before he could continue.

We really hope you enjoy Amanda & Michael’s wedding film highlights trailer at The Upper House.

The Wedding Film of Jen & Nick at Carden Park

All weddings are emotional, but Jen & Nick’s wedding film highlights trailer should carry a government health warning that it shouldn’t be watched without a very large box of tissues. You have been warned!

Unfortunately Jen’s dad was rushed to hospital in the early hours the day of the wedding with a problem with an on-going medical condition, which meant that he missed the whole wedding. As you can imagine everyone was very upset, but Colin got the care he needed and insisted that the wedding go on as he said he could watch it all back on the film. To make sure that he could still be part of the day; Jen and her mum went to the hospital just before the ceremony so he could see her in her dress and then Jen & Nick with the Vicar went back to hospital so that they could do the vows part again and he could give his daughter away. This very special moment is some of the most poignant and emotional footage we have ever filmed and had me in floods of tears checking the footage, during the editing of the documentary bonus section and watching the feature film, in fact every time I see it and I have seen it a lot. Even though Colin couldn’t be there and he was obviously missed it was still a wonderful day filled with tears but lots of laughs too.

We really hope you enjoy Jen & Nick’s wedding film highlights trailer at Carden Park.

The Wedding Film of Jade & Thomas at The Lowry Hotel

The majority of the weddings we film tend to be held at grand stately homes in the middle of the countryside, so it was great to have the opportunity to film a wedding in the urban setting of The Lowry Hotel. Photographers Pixies in the Cellar took Jade & Thomas off into the back streets of Manchester for some amazing gritty backgrounds, if not a bit smelly!

My favourite bit of the whole day, other than Jade & Thomas’ fun loving spirit and their adorable little boy Finn in his Converse trainers, was how emotional Thomas was during the service. It was so sweet how much he cried, we haven’t seen a groom that emotional since Jane & Steve’s Iscoyd Park wedding.

It was lovely once again to be filming a magnificent cake by Cakes by Beth and the wondrous floral designs by the imitable fellow Wedding Queen; Red Floral Architecture.

We really hope you enjoy Jade & Thomas wedding film highlights trailer at The Lowry Hotel.

The Wedding Film of Danielle & Craig at Peckforton Castle

Danielle wanted to feel like a Princess on her wedding day, so where better than Peckforton Castle to get married. Danielle, Craig and their beautiful daughter Freya live in Qatar and flew back for a traditional English wedding at the castle. I loved how emotional Craig was before he saw Danielle walk down the aisle and the registrar had to give him a tissue. He had such a good sense of humour joking around all day; he made everyone laugh during the vows when Danielle said ‘I do’, Craig asked if she was sure and of course she was!

We really hope you enjoy Danielle & Craig’s wedding film highlights trailer at Peckforton Castle.

The Wedding Film of Tracey & David at The Mere

One of my favourite parts of the trailer is when David sees Tracey for the first time in the bedeken and he is unsure if he is allowed to kiss her, so he asks and Tracey gives him a resounding no and then giggles, it makes me laugh every time and then David leaves to go to the ceremony room and Tracey says “see you in a minute”, it is such a sweet moment. The ceremony was so lovely with both their parents taking an active role in the marriage service under the beautiful silk painted chuppah. The best part of the day was the amazing Israeli and Irish dancing, we have never seen such energetic dancing, with a maypole and the bride skipping in her dress. We were shattered just filming and they kept it up for hours. It was a fantastic shindig.

Special thanks to Blake from Blake Ezra Photography for his guidance on the various Jewish customs and ceremonies and to Metropolis and their event coordinator Becca for all their help on the day. They got the party started and kept it going all night.

We really hope you enjoy Tracey & David wedding film highlights trailer at The Mere.
